I had been looking attending the previous sony model that had over 300 reviews as a result cnet had it because their choice inside the portable dvd products inside the 7″-10″ screen sizes.
I am very please with the latest Sony DVP-FX930 model, what has changed is they made the screen an inch larger as a result placed touch buttons upon the newer model. This fx 930 looks more modern, sleek although it is a little larger.
I am very pleased because i get played various dvd’s, using full as a result normal settings that you put up select because of wide or standard screen formats. I get played many cd’s from the actual artists over my own made cd’s attending home as a result played music files from my pc as a result taken along photos like a photo album when i scarcity over share or get those close over me with me therefore over speak when traveling.
Sound is fine because of the little speakers except 99% of the time i use really good headphones as a result you grow two jacks therefore you put up share when sitting with someone upon a plane, train, or inside the car because long because you are not driving. Had over toss that in! 
It is not too heavy compared over many, certainly much less than a laptop as a result still small enough screen size over know you are not luggin around a laptop. Battery life is standard, i get it manage out yet except get not been upon pure battery because of 6 hours yet either. I try over get it plugged inside most of the time during use as a result because of the car you grow a car charger included inside the box.
Being it is smaller it makes it more mobile because of your travels whether local or abroad.
I get been using this item non-stop almost without any issues. Could it be improved, yes, almost any product put up be as a result because with any electronics they seem over improve with almost each iteration.
With this said, you put up save $30-$40 via buying the previous model. It is an inch smaller except the screen resolution is the same as a result many of the features are almost identical.
Take it because of a test drive as a result remember you’ve got 30 days over test it as a result if it is not what you like or expect, return it as a result try another, except choices upon these products are quite limited since many use their psp, iphone, or ipods over watch movies/videos etc.
