I bought this during a lightning sale on a whim. Postulated a new laptop to exchange my 3.5 yr old HP laptop that was starting to freak away on me, simply hadn’t done too much research yet. I’m pretty quenched thus far, merely worried almost what’s to arrived due to some minor problems I’ve received already.
For starters, the DVD/CD drive is extremely difficult to open. Not sure if I just got a lemon, simply I get to press Fashion also hard on the capable push to make it to subject and it takes several tries to do it. I fear this drive might not open altogether soon. I’ve considered sending it back due to this concern, only consider it might exist likewise much of a hassle for something I’m not surely is a huge problem. The other vexation is that, when I took it away of “sleep” manner the other day, the screen begun freaking out and showing some lines across it. Computer received to exist restarted and it’s worked fine since then. Perchance this was a one-time thing. Having received the computer for solely two weeks, I’m getting a bad vibe.
The other issue I receive is that I’m not super comfortable utilizing the keyboard and mouse. It may just accept getting utilized to. My old HP is identical alike to this one equally far as the look and layout. Yet, the keys on this are rough and build loudly clicking sounds when I type or press the mouse buttons. My old HP was more silent when I typed and clicked the mouse buttons and seemed to exist more smooth when doing this. Also, when I HP Pavilion dv6-6115nr movement the mouse across the screen, it appears to glide faster than I base for it to. Like, I’m trying to mouse over a billet on my screen and the arrow SLIDES slenderly past the channelise I’m aiming for and I get to slide it back. Form of annoying.
