As far as functionality is concern, Wagan 400-Watt works. However, the design of the product is mediocre. This product is full of stickers or sticky labels for every switches (absolutely nothing is printed). Even the product logo on the top, right below the handle, is not well made. It’s sticking out around its edges. It only a matter of time before all the stickers come off the unit. Also there is no manual on how to use this unit. I finally had the chance to use this product to jump start my car. It took me a while to figure out why it didn’t work initially. I finally figured out that after clamping the red and black cables onto the car battery, I had to turn on the switch that is located in the back of the unit. The switch label does not tell you what it’s for, only that the sticky label says, “On and Off”. Other than those sticky labels I’ve mentioned here, the product works just as advertised.I like having the security of being able to pump up a tire or jump start my car anywhere, anytime. But my primary reason for purchasing the Power Dome was to provide some power while camping. Using it to charge phone, ipod, etc. So far, it’s working out great.

This result came over me functioning properly except as theo- career light (which was a loose wire as a consequence i fixed it easily). I followed theo- instructions as charging as a consequence that time used its power inverter over charge a few small electronics i have. Everything worked great. I that time used it over power a laptop pc as a consequence it lasted about 45 minutes. I re-charged it again as a consequence left it sit as about 2 months. My automobile armory died because i hadn’t driven it in 3 weeks so i brought theo- power wagon out, as a consequence it functioned exactly as advertised. Of course it advertises that you can let it sit as 6 months, but it still has a great charge level after jumping theo- automobile so that is a good sign. I wouldn’t recommend this result over anyone looking as something over run larger appliances (even if they are within theo- advertised range of wattage) off of as more than a minute or two. If you’re looking as a portable armory jumper/light/pump/radio or a little extra power over charge mp3 players or phones (the usb power function is great) while away from civilization (and weight isn’t an issue) than this is a great result as you.
